What is a good price for the full Termi Kit, Labor and all?  I was expecting $22 - $2600.  AMS Ducati in Dallas, says $3000.00.  AMS also says $300.00 for the 600 mile service, which I was just planning on doing myself.   Seems a little overpriced.

I'm going to be in a Suburb of Ft. Worth on Wed.  Driving over to the metroplex for Thanksgiving.  I'm taking my bike in for Warranty work.
I was planning on just driving in to Dallas and going to AMS Ducati, as I read good things about them.  But I might have some extra's thrown on and they seem expensive.

So does anyone have an opinion on the Ft. Worth Dealership?   Also what is good price for the full Termi Kit, Labor and all?  I was expecting $22 - $2600.  AMS says $3000.00.  AMS also says $300.00 for 600 mile service, which I was just planning on doing myself.   Seems a little overpriced.

The DFWM section of this board has LOTS of people with DFW dealership (Eurosport Vs. AMS) experience.
Ask there for mucho help...

Thanks, I posted a message up there.  I'm going to leave this up, because I would like a broader opinion on the prices.

What bike are you putting it on?  My termi kit was $2150 and one hour labor for the install. That was in june 2006.  Probably should be a little more $$$ now.

When the kit is bought at the time of sale I was told you may get a little extra break on the price.

By the book, the warranty on the bike and parts only applies for items/parts that are installed by the dealership.

Of course I had to take the bike home and adjust the system to get a perfect fit.  Proper fitment of the pipes is all finesse, not brute force.

I hope the $3K tag isn't for a 696. I still want my green eco-safe fireplace and the exhaust as well. Hmm, a bit of an oxymoron.

I ride a 2007 S4R T.  I have 2 grand put back thinking that would take care of it or be darn close.   but he's saying 3 1/2 hours labor, "And that's giving you a break on the labor" plus parts = $3,000.00  I make less then 20 a year.  I have to plan this stuff ahead of time.

Wow those are the cheapest prices I have seen. The S2R1k  kit and midpipe is 400 cheaper then any dealer here in NJ.  [thumbsup]  I was going to go with Arrow full system and try our that Fatduc gizmo but now I will have to see. The Termi will still be a little more but there is always that DP ECU thing. Cant wait to put my bike all together and go  [moto] again.

$148.00 for my 600 mile service.  $300 sounds a little high to me...

I suspect that's the pricer for the slip- on since that's what I paid at Eximport in Houston. I think OP is talking about the full pipes. Sorry to burst any bubbles.

I had AMS do my 600 mi service when I lived down south.  I don't have the receipt accessible at the moment by I'm 100% sure it was under $200, some where in the $170's I think.  That was including the belt tension check and a few other services not listed on the official Ducati 600mi service list.

That was the slip-on's.  Just putting it out there for perspective...

s4rs and s4rt same kit.   2 grand is right if you got a big discount at time of buying bike with install included.  almost no way to get near that number later.
