848s?

Close...  Need to see what I can get for at least one of the bikes I have now, or maybe the Honda.

Anybody interested in an '08 D675SE or an '06 Sport1000?
we were joking about that, but I didn't think you'd actually jump.

Not sure if I will or not, and honestly wasn't able to get that much of an impression of Rich's bike due to the fact that it isn't broken in yet.  But, and it is a big but, I found a screaming deal where I could get one (with all the right mods already) shipped here and turn a profit by selling it if I wasn't happy with it.

I knew that hook was set pretty deep. I saw it go in hook, line & sinker.   [evil]
No modification goes unpunished. Memento mori.  Good people drink good beer.  Things happen pretty fast at high speeds.

It's all up to your will level, your thrill level and your skill level.  Everything else is just fluff.

If you only knew the deal I was offered on the hook.  Too bad this didn't happen a few weeks ago as well, because you could have bought my Daytona (saving yourself a couple of thousand from the Gixxer) and we would both be happy.  ;)

I might end up being happier with the Gixxer than the Daytona. I'm feeling really good about it after Sunday's ride and now I have this big carbon pipe for it that I think will work out great.

make the beast with two backs!!!

Dude says it can be rebuilt and titled?  Did you see the damage done to the frame spars just in front of the tank?

eltristo

yeah, that looks like one dead bike.

I'm curious to know what he hit.

MadDuck

Looks like everything and anything that could be hit to me. I wonder how he fared through that. $3,000.00? Ha!

I'd offer him ten dollars for the belt covers.  ;)

I like the way he described it as "front end damage" versus totally f'ed up!
