So whatcha folks do during the winter to keep from going crazy?
Why do roaches always die on their back?

That because the survivors flip them over to steal their sneakers and wallets.

I actually have my bike in the city right now. I was soooo tempted to take it out this afternoon but I have too much work on (still working now... kind of). The roads upstate are still really clean, as long as there isn't a heavy dump (hee hee) and the temp gets high enough, it's still good for riding. :)

I was thinking of doing this 10 years or so ago. I worked on a boat for two years. My buddy did it. Said it was THE hardest thing he ever did. Good luck

I always wanted to try that. Not looking good for this winter though  :(

My brother finished the course many years ago when the USCG was at Governor's Island (now it's no longer).  He learned all the "ropes" and helped him to be a better sea person.
btw, where is the USCG stationed now ?

I know there is one in Montauk. Not sure of any others.

We have an Aux unit here in the Hudson.
