--thanks.  this has been a snapshot from my brain for several days being without a ....  Motorcycle...  for a WEEK.  In San Diego.  With the awesome weather...  some very cool roads...  seen Harleys, Ducs, Aprilias, MV Agustas and all manner of japanese bikes, and not a one has gone by without a deep stab of envy starting at the base of my spine, through the lizard part of brain that does things without thinking ( sorry, Toni! ), and into my pre-frontal lobe and neo-cortex.    Holy crap, I miss my bike.  oh yeah, and you lot too...

Great, this is the way it always starts--with threads like this.

Next thing you know we'll start talking about how to mod, fix, and actually [gulp] ride the darn contraptions....  :P

Did you know that there is a gentleman in MN who actually has the name Puffer; Peter Puffer?

CJ has it nailed - again. BTW he has good taste in Ducs. ;D

Checking radar now, wanna go and get 695 with virgin mod and ride back to work.  Patrick hit a nerve - njoy the weather there!

You turned your 695 into a virgin? How did you do that?

The long straight slidey part will go in and out of the cylindrical receiving thingy which has lubrication stuff in it.

The fit is tight and all is clean. ;)

Right after I get to San Diego - we go to Cardiff for some sushi on the way in from the airport and in the grocery parking lot is this Duc ! You can tell this Duc does not sit around in a showroom garage waiting to be polished - sometimes the effects of proper wear can be more beautiful than the pristine !! ( I hope to be a living example of this ! )

So I felt & heard The Svoloch's Cali-Moto-howl - funny we were in the same area !

Some scientists claim that hydrogen, because it is so plentiful, is the basic building block of the universe. I dispute that. I say there is more stupidity than hydrogen, and that is the basic building block of the universe.
