Hi, I just got my monster, looking forward to go touring on it from Singapore into Thailand.

Just wondering if anybody had a saddle bag on a Monster 696 yet? The exhaust are high mounted.

yeah chrome is nice, but I am going to travel almost 8000 km for this trip, won't want to carry anything on me. There is only the tank and rear seat bag from Ducati in stock here. I saw on the web that there is a side bag as well, but donno how it works. There is no price on it too. wondered if it's even in stock.

There is a tank bag, a tail bag and new side bags. not sure about where the side bags mount, but the other two you can search on here for pics.

The problem with the tail bag is it makes the bike a solo seater. I really want to get a hard mount tail piece that comes out behind the seat to put more luggage on. then maybe that with side bags with a frame to keep them off the pipes.

I am trying to work up an 1800 mile trip through europe, but i may end up sending clothing ahead to stopping points to change out.
