i say riding behind Krolik cause that just gives me good memories of being behind him on the summer rides trying to see if i could keep up with him the whole time. A challenge for me. Victor sets the perfect pace. Lots of fun.

Has anyone seen Keith Code's column in the latest issue of Motorcyclist

It reminded me of when Elies schooled Code in basic physics. ;D

Too bad Code is a douche. [roll]

I lost all respect for that man when he just up and bailed after that exchange

I believe Code is also the guy who said

"engines are for going and brakes are for stopping"

implying that the use of engine braking isn't advised on a motorcycle

There is real value to weighting the inside peg while in a turn at speed.  Not sure what he was talking about.  He also mentioned the bike wont stand up if you apply the throttle while in , or exiting a turn.  More BS.  On every bike I have ever ridden on the track, weighting the inside peg makes the bike turn in, and hold a corner better then lets say weighting the "outside" peg.  and I use the throttle to tighten, and loosen a corner radius all the time when passing people.  I don't know this guy, I have a book, or DVD or something around here, but after reading that article, I have a lot less respect for his ability to "teach" people how to go fast.

Most I-4 guys dont have a real good grasp on the advantage of engine breaking.  Its kind of sad, really.

oh, and Jacob still after all these years, sucks!

Haven't read Code's column.  Alls I know is, our local moto hippy hermit made more sense and gave a better explanation of handling than that published instructor.
