I'm not regularly a PC kind of guy. But in the interest of the whole of our online forum community I'm going to be so in this post.

We will be hosting a 'Holiday Party' this Saturday night the 13th of December 2008. So, Slag and Slagette, you two can come and enjoy without having to do anything but relax! What a concept huh? I am going to be cranking up the smokers to provide the group on hand some of my internationally famous BBQ brisket, ribs, sausages, potato salad, pinto beans and all the fixins. Please, hold the applause...for now at least. Redette will no doubt be serving another Rum Cake to sweeten your pots.

Please if you will, those who do not ride over (unless your like Dukie Duke and can strap bundles on top the tank), to bring a side dish or horse doovers and something you can imbibe (BYOB) with. For our vegan friends I will also be putting together a medley of marinated smoked veggies served on some crackling pita bread.

There is plenty of off-street flat surface parking in the rear of the manner on the paddock for Ducatis and out front for cagers.

We'll have a fire on in the fireplace as well as one by the pool to warm your cockles and melt the holiday blues away. Since I do not have a monster screen HDTV with Guitar Hero anymore there will be musical entertainment and old fashioned conversation pits to entertain. Yes, social interaction with actual people who are not playing electronic games or texting people on the forum will have to do for this one if that's OK. That's not to say that those who wish can bring their laptops and connect into the FO high speed DSL.

So, if this is something that floats your water wings PM me with an RSVP and I will provide you with the addy and phone numbers. This will also suffice for an attendees list which unless otherwise noted will be posted here in this thread.

Let the Holiday Season ring (cue the music) and we'll hope to see those who can make it over Saturday night !!

Not sure that I want to go to one of "these types" of parties.

So, I guess Andi has put her foot down and figured you'd be safer at home hosting this party than running around with us.   ;D   How does it go know, "keep your friends close and the hooligans closer?"

Well, having been one those 'Hooligans' for the better part of my life I'd have to say that the Hooligans I run with are a hell of lot better to have close by than most any of my friends or family !!   [laugh]  [laugh]

Some scientists claim that hydrogen, because it is so plentiful, is the basic building block of the universe. I dispute that. I say there is more stupidity than hydrogen, and that is the basic building block of the universe.

Deal!

It must have been a memory lapse caused by alcohol dehydration of brain cells via bacon-vodka experimentation.

Yes, L' please do come over AFTER your party ! By all means please come and bring many friends of yours as well. Tis the season for making merry!
