hey guys,
Well, I posted some things on craigslist and ran across two new Michellin Pilot Power for $250 for both, size 180/55-17
That's what I'm running now and I'll be lucky if I get 3,000 miles from the looks of it.  I like them because they stick but wondered if you guys thought it was worth the buy since Parts Unlimited has them for $220 each (comments on other "better" tires are welcome too).  Oh, and would storing them a year be a problem?  I'll need one shortly but the other I don't immediately need so feel free to take the other off my hands if you'd like.

I like the Pilot Powers fine on a street bike [thumbsup]
I would recommend splitting the deal with someone. You don't know how old the tires are already (there's a date code stamped on the side), & I wouldn't keep a tire around for another year or so...

You should be able to pull 5-6k miles out of those if you don't track it at all.

yeah, the guy said they are brand new and if they don't have the wrapper on it I'm gone.
Thanks.

Not familiar with a wrapper...

You can tell by looking if a tire's been used ;)

If you need to know how to read the date code, gimme a call ;D
