A north Texas Hill country ride will be run today. Be at Starbucks at I-20 and 377 (Benbrook hwy S.W. Fort Worth) at 9:00am for a 4 hour ride to Glen Rose and back on some freakin awesome twisties and sweeeeepers. If you've done this ride before you know what I mean. If not you don't know what your missing. Close as it gets to THC. Nothing fast just good riding. I have a Google map of the route I hope...

one of these days...

It looks like a great route. Maybe I'll be able to catch the next one.  [thumbsup]

cdc and Red are a lot of fun to ride with and stop for coffee and Duc talk.  This was so cool, we all took turns on each other's ride and I learned a lot from that and from cdc's explanations.

Red seemed to really improve on the big monster (cdc) on some great twisties [thumbsup]

I got more comfortable on those as well.  Great ride guys! [moto]

I had a great time guys and to top it all off, I had a very pleasant conversation with a State trooper who lit his lights up as I rounded a corner.

He wanted to know if I knew what the speed limit was in the area, which I didn't.  He then asked for my license and insurance card (which was expired as of 12-05-08).  I assured him that the insurance was paid up and that I did not think I was speeding but had not been mindful of the speedometer.  No, sir!

He told me that I was doing 11 MPH over the 45 MPH speed limit to which I asked him:

"Are you giving me a ticket for 11 MPH over?"

He responded, "No, I am giving you a warning.  Do you have a problem with that?

And I said, "No sir, I won't argue with you!  You go right ahead.  And please have a nice rest of the day. Thank you Mr. Officer sir!"

Red stopped a short distance away and was sweating bullets!  He had his own "crime".    ;D

Too funny you guys. I'll get mc back on my license in a couple weeks!

Again, that day will go down in history as one of the most fun for me. I need an S2R now! .....Santa?

Wish I could have made this ride.  Sounded really fun.  Last time was a blast, and Charles is an excellent leader. (Even if it's the wrong direction  [cheeky] )

cdc is never late, we are all just early. Also, there is no such thing as a wrong turn, we call that a left turn.

I stand by my statements. ;D
