you should've had nichols throw one in there while you bike was getting serviced!

I did that along with a 14t sproket and it has kept me happy since Feb.

Instead of getting a bigger motor have you tried twisting that thing on the right handle bar  ;D

Labbedds

Nah, I'm lookin for less twist/more HP.  Should have just got the 1000 in the beginning I love that dry clutch. WANT.

I'll record my kids banging some pots and pans together and you can put it into your Ipod and get that dry clutch kind of sound for free.....or better yet I'll send you a recording of my old LandCruiser 6 cyl. valve clacking....if you like the open clutch sound you'll love this..... [thumbsup]

That would be great, maybe I'll hook a tamburine up to the side of the bike so i can get that clank clank clank sound.

Come on you can't get rid of your 800, it's in the absolute best color combination ever invented by man and I'm not just saying that because I have the same bike or anything.  I swear it's a totally unbiased observation.   ;D

p.s.  Truthfully I'm kinda antsy to trade in my S2R for the new 1100 when it comes out.   Something about the silver w/ the red frame looks very nice.  Sadly my wife has shot me down on this idea even after I suggested that we keep the S2R as "her" bike and the new 1100 would be "my" bike.

I don't have a wife so I'll have the silver and red before you  [cheeky]  I really like that combination also, but the 696 modded at INDY was sickkkkk.  I like the classic looks of my monster but the new ones ain't so bad either.

Blake

Yeah, get the siver and red and whatever else you have your heart set on BEFORE you get a wife.  It's much easier that way.

Labbedds

True, unless you can convince her that the new one is safer  ;D
Wawawiwa

TCK!

I was really impressed by my monster when I kept the RPMs closer to the 7000 mark. The power is much different.

Did you sell the s4r already?

Not yet.

Its actually going to Nichols on Tuesday for its 18k... errr  really 25k tuneup =)

I am probably going to keep it unless a nice deal on a smaller Monster comes my way.

Dry clutch envy solved in 4 easy steps:

1. Double sided tape.

2. Tambourine.

3. Tape tambourine to clutch cover.

4. Go ride. [moto]  [laugh]
Of all the things I've lost, I miss my mind the most.

Gettin' blow'd up sucks!

I'm almost due for my 12K and am really torn on whether to do the lightened flywheel...dollar-wise, is it a "smart" mod?

Vindingo, do you noticeably have to rev it more when starting from a stop on the 620?  I don't really like this part of the deal, but I'm assuming the affects on power delivery outweigh this part...

TIA

Just do it!!!  You should also start un-620ing the suspension while it's there.

Dammit...too slow on that auction.  Someone got a smokin' deal though.

The rest of the suspension's still working with my weight.  I need you to focus on project bigger breaks for b.  Mine plus the Circuit 998s sitting around?  Or possibly the CF tail?  Make it happen DS...make it happen!  [evil]
