I've drank quite a few Fosters.  The last few times I've had Fosters it tasted a little diffrent.  Does it have anything to do with it not being imported from Canada anymore?  Or is that not the case?

Maybe. 

I know in Australia, they (the Fosters brewery) rate their beer on a 1-to-6 scale.
Over there one or two batches a year might actually be a "6".
They fly here to do batch taste testing a couple times a month.
They were very impressed (astounded?) that the VERY FIRST BATCH we produced -rated a "6"!

I don't think a single batch out the door since then has fallen below that mark.

It certainly must be fresher. 
Now it's made mere miles from your home, with Australian ingredients, under their watchful eye.

"We" have brewing technology other places don't...
