If you mean a quick-disconnect, go to omega.com.  I've bought several QDs from them.

nope, i already have quick disconnectors. I had to replace the vacuum petcock with a manual one thats why my fuel line from the fuel filter is 5/16ths instead of 1/4 and hence my problem at the fuel pump end.

If you are wanting a simple inline reducer to go from 5/16 to 1/4, I would recommend going to an auto parts store and getting a brass cooling system adapters/reducers. They are barbed for a non-slip fit(though I would use clamps, worm style) and brass is impervious to fuel and I have had no problems in the past with it leeching anything into the fuel. If you can't find one that small, look in the vacuum line section as they are smaller fittings and some stores have brass as well.

I'm not totally useless, I can be used as a bad example!
