a "help keep 2009 Safe & Healthy" trip new years day?

I for one will not be working Jan 1, and will most likely be sober & asleep by 10 on NYE...

pathetic, I know.

I'm riding NY day, but we may be able to do it after that. I need a few things:

1) A post hole digger (to borrow)
2) A co-conspirator

How bout I ask my wife to meet us with the sign...  I'll let you know how that goes... she is way cool, but this should be a pretty good test of a. her coolness and/or b. my cluelessness...

As for the post hole digger, don't know anybody with one, but Big4rents comes to mind...  scratch that, $55 for 4 hours (gas powered)

I have a buddy on the peninsula that may be able to borrow one for a day or so...  he's gonna get back to me...

The post hole digger doesn't need to be the powered variety. Last time we used the manual variety:
