Thinking of going for a jaunt on New Years Day. Anyone game? I'd leave SF around 8AM or 9AM.

OK, since johnc is being a flake he's dubbed me master of this ride. So, since I have total discretion, here's how it'll go:

SAN FRANCISCO
Meet at Zeitgeist.
Sidestands up at 8AM or so.

LOS GATOS
Meet at Peet's Coffee
798 Blossom Hill Rd
Los Gatos, CA

CAPITOLA
Meet at AJ's Fuel Market at rougly 10AM.
836 Bay Ave
Capitola, CA 95010

i have a new years day ride going from south bay down to carmel.  grab burgers @ the hogs breath for lunch.

we are meeting in los gatos @ the peet's coffee (798 Blossom Hill Rd) @ 9am. then will ride up 17 to old santa cruz highway, then up old santa cruz to skyline, then down san jose/capitola road to 1. capitola meeting time, 10am @ AJ's Fuel Market of Capitola‎ (36 Bay Ave.),  then 1 south to carmel.

hope you (and other MOBsters) can make it.

i will be driving up from carmel to the south bay at the same time.  have a good ride down.

Wow...that'd be a 250 mile day for me, much of it on slab. Lemme think about it and see if anyone wants to take a shorter jaunt that day.

Bummer, man, I wish I could go. The weekdays are my fave time, but this year I'm working all night at the bar, then I'm going to a work an afterhours. I'll just be finishing brkfst when you're getting up for the ride. Have a good one  [moto]

we can make the ride down from capitola all back roads, if that will make it more tolerable for you.  there are some cool twisties that go the back way into carmel from capitola.

Huh?  Cuz Joe isn't sure he's organizing a ride.  Therefore, it's tentative.
