Scottish wool rubbing bare skin... comfort is not a part Scottish attire !  They had to come up with good whiskey to ease the pain of the wool rash, and the torture instrument known as the bagpipe !

True! This is made with 8 yards of 16oz wool from the Lochcarron mill in Scotlad. While it's the softest wool I have ever felt, it can still rub you the wrong way 

I have synthetic kilt (Clan MacPherson Red Modern) that is still 16oz fabric, but is as comfy as a t-shirt.

Will post Marc in his kilt on our Wedding Day in Scotland.  Dang that was more than 10 years ago!  I don't even have the pics on my computer.  That was before all of this FaNcY computer stuff.  I will have to scan them!!!  Slag, it may be several days before I post it
