Never attribute to malice that which can be adequately explained by stupidity.

Regardless of your choice of favorite, please vote for the one you like !  It doesn't really matter if you approve of the premise of the contest, it is what it is.  The dealers followed the guidelines and deadlines they were given to the best of their ability.   Many dealers could use the encouragement, it has been a tough 5-6 months for quite a few.

Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving in a pretty pristine body, but rather to come in sliding sideways all used up screaming F*CK YEAH WHAT A RDIE!!

"AND THE WINNER OF THE MONSTER 1100 COMPETITION IS...

While the competition was fierce, in the end there could be only one. Votes came in fast and strong showing support for Ducati dealerships around the country. As the counting began it was uncertain who would emerge victorious. Throughout the week votes remained close but a victor was crowned. With inspiration taken from the urban Los Angeles landscape Del Amo Motorsports captured the most attention and has taken their Monster 1100 to the winner’s circle.
“The concept for the bike emerged from a gathering of ideas supporting the urban landscape found in the Los Angeles area. As many of you know, Los Angeles has many of the Nation's most pristine riding areas, canyons and highways abounding throughout Southern California.

The most prominent piece in our design is the Los Angeles City Hall building, arguably the most recognizable Los Angeles Skyscraper. We utilized a view of reverse construction on the building to tie into the trellis frame that Ducati is famous for. The front windscreen and rear seat cowl were designed using the artist’s rendering of Downtown Los Angeles seen from overhead. Also worth mentioning is the tank stripe which pays homage to the new Ducati Logo. We utilized the Italian flag in the design to pay tribute to those who brought over such a wonderful bike. This experience has been very arduous but well worth the experienceâ€"from the 2 week deadline (concept to finished product) to the install and final unveil.

Del Amo Motorsports would like to thank Ducati for this unique opportunity. We here at Del Amo Motorsports Redondo Beach, CA would like to thank all who contributed to the final design. Art and Design by Alan Villanueva, Graphics by Expectalot, Monste 1100 S by Ducati North America".

Ducati North America would like to applaud Del Amo Motorsports for a job well done as well as all of the dealers that participated in this competition. Many unique and creative Monster 1100s were unveiled to the public just a few short days ago. Interest has been high making these customized Monsters the focal point of many conversations.

Stay tuned for further happenings with these customized Monsters. "

it was one of my top 4 choices ... tough to decide; also liked the day of the dead theme one; and the funky paint job by that artist San Fran artist ...
