A friend had a KX500 years ago and I took it for a ride... mind bending power!!!
I can only imagine what yours was like with street tires and a re-gearing for asphalt.

i wanted a 4stroke supermoto to race, this bike was a handfull, can highside on every single turn if you are not carefull and 4t is so much forgiving... so i bought a KTM570 with Ohlins





Some of you might seen it at Eagles Canyon last year... sold it too...

thanks, I'll call them and see what the story is.  did your friend buy the 4 stroke or 2?

if i could find one cheap i'd love another YSR50... and it would be a good first bike for my son as long as i can avoid thrashing it before then
