Its Sunday, and only a few miles

AMS-A is closed Sundays so you have to meet  outside on the entrance...

917 should be fine on a Sunday as they are working on the shoulders in some places and the new blacktop they put down is great.

The 917 stretch between AMS and Godley was pretty decent when we were through there a couple weeks ago.  I'd forgotten what a nice curvy road that is, although I don't recall the pavement quality.

They should have just finished repaving.    And that road is awesome for bikes!!! My office is in Godley.
