bring a warm sleeping bag!

there is nothing better than sleeping outside, in cold weather...with the right equipment.

i woke up on a helibase on the edge of hells canyon a couple years ago, with ice all over my bivy sack.

toasty as can be...(until i had to get out)

I think she'd take offense to being called "equipment," but as long as she helps keep me warm I don't much care.

no, i'm pretty sure it had more to do with the bike being in pieces and not having a front wheel bearing that functioned properly.
but yes, no matter what the reason it, i did drop out.

and therein lies the problem. i'm awful at mornings as it is. i also hate being cold. i'll ride through the cold, but i won't sleep in it. there is a huge difference in the 2.

If it's Sept. I might be in. If it is before then, Nate has something that works well to keep warm on cold nights. Drinks well with nothing more than hot water.

2000 Monster 900Sie, a few changes
1992 900 SS, currently a pile of parts.  Now running
                    flogged successfully  NHMS  12 customized.  Twice.   T3 too.   Now retired.
