I love it.

I need more types of bourbon to try that are a bit unique. So far I've had Woodford Reserve, Wild turkey, Knob Creek, makers mark, jim bean. Mostly well known stuff, but are there any unique bourbons out there that someone would recommend?

Woodford smells so make the beast with two backsing good, and wild turkey is what i usually get at the bar.

Woodford is good shit and very unique.  I just tried 1792 which is also a reserve made by a small, independent company.  It is very good for the price and comes in a nice looking bottle, if you care about that.

A lot of good single barrel stuff out there.  Eagle Rare single barrel is good as is Booker's, though a bit pricey.  A lot of the good bourbons are actually made by Jim Beam.

Bourbon has long been my favorite liquor, though I've never been a fan of shooting it.  I've recently started drinking Manhatten's, I'd highly recommend those if you haven't had them before.  Just make sure you order it with good bourbon because some people make it with Canadian Whishkey.

Another +1 on Eagle Rare.

I also like Evan William's Single Barrel.  My cheaper alternative is Elijah Craig.  Very oaky in flavor ~

I can't wait until Marquez gets on his level and makes Jorge trip on his tampon string.

Bullitt.

My local store just started carrying this.  Can you describe it somewhat?

I'll give it a show, because Elijah Craig is not smooth, but tasty ~

Sorry - just wanted to keep notified on this thread/size]
Desmosedici - it's the new Paso (except the bodywork doesn't fit as well)

Bookers. Let it dilute(flash) with a couple cubes for a few minutes before your first sip.  Also you need to learn proper breathing technique before said first sip.  Its 126.6 proof.

Eagle Rare ( the 17 if you can find it)

George T. Stagg ( again if you can find it) this years batch is just over 141 proof.

Any of the small batch Bourbons, Knob Creek, Bookers, Basil Haydens, are good everday Bourbons.

Also look for Buffalo Trace. A good value bourbon.

If you like Bourbon you may want to try Rye.

Thomas Handy is a good High end Rye but could be difficult to find.

But for the money. One of the best Values is Rittenhouse Bottled in Bond. 100 proof Great drinking Rye at under $15.00/bottle

Also for a change of pace look for Weller 12 yr.

Weller is a wheated bourbon and you may enjoy the change.

the_Journeyman

Duclvr, could you post some prices those?  I'm cheap.
