I'm currently well into a bottle of Knob Creek, which I prefer over Maker's Mark (which I do like).  I've seen Bullitt on the shelf; I'll have to give it a try.

I prefer to sip bourbon, neat.

Sorry, I'm just a good ol' boy, define "neat" as compared to rocks, or just "a pour"

i have had guys reach back and grab my crotch in an attempt to get around me. i'll either blow in their ear or ask them politely to let go of my wang.

Eagle Rare ( the 17 if you can find it) $59.99-79.99/bottle (I've seen these sell for more on Fleabay)

George T. Stagg ( again if you can find it) this years batch is just over 141 proof. $59.99-79.99/bottle (I've see these go for over $100 on Fleabay)

Any of the small batch Bourbons, Knob Creek, Bookers, Basil Haydens, are good everday Bourbons. $26.99-49.99/bottle for these

Also look for Buffalo Trace. A good value bourbon.  $21.99-26.99/bottle

If you like Bourbon you may want to try Rye.

Thomas Handy is a good High end Rye but could be difficult to find.  $59.99-79.99/bottle

But for the money. One of the best Values is Rittenhouse Bottled in Bond. 100 proof Great drinking Rye at under $15.00/bottle

^^^^^^^ I would seriously seek this one out. Can't beat if for the price

Of course depending on where you live some of these may be higher in price or may be restricted from being sold because of their alcohol content.

Customer bought me one of these not too long ago.  By far one of my favorites.

I don't drink it any other way.  2-3 fingers in a rocks glass. Goes great with a fine cigar.  [thumbsup]

Sorry, good ol' boy again...  Fingers?  I know is a measure, define for me please ~

Thanks for the pricing Duclvr, there's two on there I'd be willing to spend for ~

Pour holding your fingers to the side of the glass. Bonus for you guys with sausage fingers.

About one finger here.

What I was thinking, just wanted to be sure.  I'm usually a 2-3 finger per pour guy.  My local store has Knob Creek & Bullitt, sounds like I'll give them a try ~

That looks like you needed to pour a demonstration glass. Way to take one for the team, my friend!

Oh, man -- that sounds a lot like some of the weird concoctions I used to dream up before I knew anything (and long before I was legally supposed to know anything) about coctails!

And I'm going to have to try it!
