If we could get a longer/shorter S*R kickstand, would you be interested?

This product is requested from time to time. Guessing at a rough price estimate $120/150/??

Your interest is not binding, I'm just trying to explore if there is actual interest before we talk to Swatt MotorCycle Products to see if they can make such a product.

BTW - just wanted to credit Teutonics - it's he who have contacted Swatt to see what can be done. We'll keep you posted.

My 2004 S4R sidestand was too short. I didn't dare change the ride height for fear of bike tippage. I found the longer Cycle Cat stand to be very helpful. Since they're no longer around I would think there's a market.

It's like I keep saying:  Those who would sacrifice a free range session for a giant beer, deserve neither free range time nor a giant beer.

i have had guys reach back and grab my crotch in an attempt to get around me. i'll either blow in their ear or ask them politely to let go of my wang.

I'm interested (provided powdercoated black is an option  ;) )

You should make this thread a poll.

Is there a way to enable two votes, as in "longer" AND "black" ?

Yes, but all you'll get are dirty answers if you phrase it like that.

I'm looking for a cycle cat +1.  I'd be interested in seeing what they came up with.

hmm... i always feel like my bike is too upright when on it's stand... wouldnt that require a shorter stand?
i think it's fine the way it is... so.. boobies.

The S*R stand is pretty easily modified on its own whether its too long or too short, as long as you know a fairly competent welder nearby.  The problem I had was with the 695 stand since it was iron, no one wanted to touch it as far as welding goes.  I recently just put on a S2R stand and it works fine for me since I don't have the low mount exhausts anymore.  It is still just very slightly low, but I'm considering having a more substantial foot fashioned for it to take care of that, as well as to give a bit more area to grab with my boot when putting it down.  It also hits the shift linkage when retracted, so a little nub welded on will take care of that.  Something to consider for those with S*R stands rather than fabbing up a whole new one.
