Whenever I see videos of other 696s on start-up the LCD reads out M-O-N-S-T-E-R 6-9-6 followed by the country symbol for where it is, but for some reason mine says PROG and then counts down from 25. Is there anyway to fix this so that it reads the above?

Try hold the mode botton down for 5 sec. before you turn the egnition on.
