Mata Hari Absinthe at Cafe Rembrandt. C'mon green fairy!!

got a bottle here at home.  also tried the Pernod version.  Experimenting with different methods of drinking it, and waffle back and forth between whether or not to add water...  definitely do the "absinthe soaked sugar cube", ignited, and then pitched into the glass...  but sometimes adding water in there as well softens the absinthe pregnant dog slap that awaits your first sip....

Mine was prepared "Bohemian" style, with the flaming cube. It turned a caramel brown and she poured the water on it when it was nearly burned out. Pretty mild served that way. They have a few versions, so I want to try some more.

Right now I'm drinking Coca-Cola...

my company gives free sodas.. i sware i've gained  like 10lbs since i started here...

i had a bottle of aventinus a few nights ago, a german doppelbock.  really good stuff i thought.

My girlfried is sick, with the temperature running hot, just like wrongly wired Ducs, so I am drinking Lambrusco Grasparossa di Castelvetro lighweight bubble water on my own browsing stuff tonight

Sipping 1921 Tequila Reposado Reserva Especial from a quaint mold glass snifter of uncertain provenance that I use for good stuff. A shot glass of cold homemade sangrita for a chaser.

Ahhh, to be in Cuernavaca again!!!
