They are google gadgets that I added into a top block inside simple portal, that shows only on the race page. 

If it makes your page load slow or blinky, you can collapse it with the , and it will stay collapsed until you open it again.

Unfortunately, I think the google logos are stuck there.  I may be able to resize the table so it doesn't show, but it will still be there.

I am looking at other gadgets, like maybe a calender. Some already available ones are listed here:  http://www.google.com/webmasters/gadgets/

Or, you can make your own, I have made a couple simple html ones.
