WOW, that thing is BLACK!  Looks awesome! Like the forks a lot! I like the graphics too. If it is any consolation, I didn't think it said cockster.

Are you planning on selling your OEM mirrors, if you still have it?
Thanks

looks great.  Where did you get your vinyl fork wrap?

I ordered the vinyl fork wrap here   http://www.signsplusbanners.com/Oracal_851.html

Got this link from someone else off the forums who had done it before me.

Mine is the flat black.

ist hard to wrap the fork??

The parts that I wrapped are easy, but I tried to do the lower beveled part at the bottom of the fork where it changes in size, and I could never get it to look good so I just took it off and left it. I have seen other peoples forks wrapped on here and they were able to do this part of the fork and it looked good but I can't figure out how they did it.

Just use a separate strip for the flared bit.  You'll never notice it's a separate piece... see?  BTW - Nice work!  [clap]

I am going to try the vinyl wrap for my forks, after seeing yours I am inspired...I see on the website 15" 24" 30" 48" Oracal.  Which size did you buy?  What quantity? and was it the right amount?  Do you have any tips for me and does the vinyl overlap on the back side of the forks.  Sorry for the rapid firing of questions.  Bike looks great BTW [thumbsup]
Thanks

Yea, yours looks great! I couldn't get the small piece for the flare to stay on. It kept wanting to peel off.

I bought two pieces of the 24" and it was more than enough. The only tip I have is to do it where it is warm, you can also use a hairdryer to heat it up when you put it on, it seems to help it stick and handle better The pieces do slightly overlap on the inside of the fork but you can't tell.

Hey guys, my bad, this is where I ordered my flat black vinyl.

Get the 10"x24",  two pieces,   It is only $2 a piece and it will be plenty to do the job.

Hunh.... weird.  Maybe try to clean it with alcohol and use some heat from a hairdryer or heat gun if you've got one.  Or... if it's not bothering you... just let it be.

I'd leave it. Nice little accent.

P.S. your heat shield is/was on backwards. ;)
