Geckos on Academy was host to Duc Night yesterday.  Nice place.  Quiet enough to have a conversation.  The food was good and the beer was cheap (Oh no, hear we go again).  HP, the Kawboy, and DDGM were in attendence.  A bigger turnout of those brave enough to karaoke and we would have stayed later.  We left just as the karaoke was about to begin.

And yeppers on the Sweeney Todd, were doing a Tim Burton/ Johnny Depp theme so we started the first of many JD portraits  I think we are also doing Edward Sissorhands, Willy Wonka, The new Mad Hatter, and the one from Corpse Bride! Its gonna be AWESOME!!!!!!

Here's some whining for you, how come we never karaoked while I was down there?  I would never have missed a DucNIght if we were somewhere karoake.  I'm a fool for it.  I just got a fix last Saturday night out east at a little honkytonk.  I know it's annoying to some folks, but that's about the only allure a bar has for me anymore.  That and the  .

Is there a Duc night tonight or will it be on Wednesday instead.  I may be able to make a Wednesday as my work schedule just recently changed.  Don't have to be at work til 9 PM.

Any update on a meeting place tonight?  I might just be there this time.

Yooooh!!  Any plans for Duc Night or is it Duc soup again.     Suggestions, commitments (I know, that's a bad work), kool places??
