Seriously, since we're talking about low (hopefully non-fatal) speeds, I wonder if mounting a camera on the front of the bike to capture any aggressive vehicular assaults might be a way to get the ball rolling.  People start to pay attention to lawsuits and/or jail time - when they see it on the news.    

Those cams don't cost very much and might just be very good for "instructional" purposes.  I bet the TV news would pay for them, even if a crash weren't involved.

The bill has only been filed and hasn't even gone to comittee yet, so there is a long road ahead.  Two years ago the same bill never made it out of comittee.

don't get me wrong.  I would do it again in a heartbeat!  I loved cruising past a 1/4 mile of cars to get to the front of line at a stop light.

Seriously, if and that's a big IF this gets passed how would the group feel about getting with the AMA, Radio/TV/Papers, DPS to get some education going?

I'm not sure how this works, but would it do any good to contact our reps in the state senate yet or is it not at that stage yet?
