Hey Any suggestions to a caravan park with in 3 hours of Syd, Keen to take the kids for a camping trip

A caravan park is not a camping trip. IMO.

It'll be there first trip in a tent so a bit of acclimatisation will be in order as they are still a bit young for the full bush trip .I have taken them out in the caravan and they seem to enjoy the out doors, but i feel they are still a hand full and would be hard to controll in the scrub

Sth Coast is easy my Mum used to go to Kiama Van/Cabin Park for a few years.
It's right on the beach and not a long trip in the car.

north or south, I agree that not too far away is good

kiama is easy south for you - about 1.5 hours
somewhere near the entrance is prolly good north.

+1 on not being a camping trip, but anyone who has met dock's boys will know that they'd be a handful!
Also, they are pretty little at the moment, there's plenty of time for them to imitate the shenanigans of their father when he was young (yes there were some stories shared whilst on tour!)

Leg ropes on a dog run !!   

Works a treat, my mate used to do it with his kids and his dingos.  Never lost any of 'em. 

i was thinking Nelson Bay actually is about 3 hours from Sydney

What about Green Patch at Jervis Bay? Around 2 hours from Sydney & is awesome!
