Just to make sure it gets the attention it deserves. This seems to be the plan, is it not?

How about

- start at windsor
- bells line of road
- oberon
- bathurst

those who want to bale here can, and go back via the highway...

OR

- taralga
- goulburn
- illawarra hwy / mq pass (down it for a change)
- mt keira
- home

all up around 600kms / 9 hours + breaks - a good touring day...

linky link of the big trip

and I also call that the ride is on, rain hail or shine!

Looks good, I've also popped it up on the new portal as well.

Big T

We meeting at the McDonald's on the corner in Windsor????
.... This is your captain speaking. Please fasten your seat-belts as we prepare for take off.... (I'm the passenger now....)

Betty

Can't see us doing the extension as it would probably add 4 hours or so for us. Is the plan to have lunch in Bathurst or will the 'splinter group' be short on time if that was the case?

Is 9:00 too late for a start time? Or too early?

To partially cover my laziness I am claiming ignorance on the specifics of the route, etc and I don't know how long will be spent getting to the various 'points of interest'.

Should we also start a list of interested parties, so we know what we are dealing with:

Jukie (short loop)
Betty (short loop)

... and what Trev said (what time, where?)

Let's say 8:30 at Maccas Windsor Road at the Ettamoga pub for a 9am departure.
Heading out through Richmond up Bells Line to Lithgow and on to Bathurst via Jenolan Caves.
Lunch, lap of the Mountain and then on with the Arvo ride home.

craigo

I'm in for sure!

Regular starting point Caltex servo on Windsor Road is located here

I thought it was obvious from the wsbk trip that he was, in fact, quite envious of the sherpa's steed  [cheeky]

you are welcome to join mostro (unless he decides to ride his monster), but keep your distance until you redeem yourself with the purchase of a suitable bike fit for an OzMONSTER ride. Oh and I'm going to keep replying in 3pt just to make it harder for you all, being the nice guy that I am

that a shame adam, I was looking forward to seeing you and trev reunited!

actually, I need to confess that I'm at best a tentative at this stage. I need some assistance in convincing the bronster that she should let me out for the day. seems that my account at the "bank of motorcycle" is a little overdrawn at the moment, and I'm on stop credit.
