I bet Hopper still has the best stand-ups in the paddock.   

Personally, I think Hopper is teh suck, but now I'm even more interested in WSBK for this season.  That's not as much an evaluation of his talent (which I'm in no position to do), but his inability to live up to the hype and/or to win a GP race.  Or for that matter, to even podium more than a coupla times. 

Besides, isn't Hopper the one who always fades at the end of a race because of his tires?  And he's gonna be riding that Honda?

how strongly do you feel about that? 

he really is fast as hell.  but imo he doesn't have that thing that wins races.  and his racecraft is... lacking.

all of the above really is just about the fact that he's too emotional.  but despite my first slight at him, i'm really interested to see what happens with this.  i'd love to see him do well.  or reasonably well.

i do think about 2/3 of the way through the season we'll start hearing him talk about the privateerness of his bike vs. ben's factory bike, etc..  but a lot of that will be media created; the two americans, blah blah.  that, and the fact that ben would have dusted him in GP, too.

  That was perfect.  When Hopper won, it was cuz he won.  When Spies won, it was cuz Spies' bike was better.  I'm pretty sure it won't be the last time we hear that.
