otherwise know as 'the pregnant dog' !

Didn't know you were expecting Spider -  awww puppies -cute.

Has/Is Goldfish sending to you some OzMonsters cards? as per previous posts on another thread?

goldFiSh

Matty and Spider have a long distance bromance sort of thing going on. They've worked it out.

and the 'pregnant dog' comment is the forums profanity filter, which replaced spiders original comment of  'the b itch'

you can turn it off in your settings...

Ita

Spider is the Beeatch....

I'm back on line after a month of computer DRAMAS!!!!!!   :'( :'( :'(

Spider lad...  pick a place I can peddle to and I'll bring Jamis along... 8)

Ita

Spider

Ita.....you been to Porgie and Mr Jones?

I hear that's it's wicked. The scrambled eggs are made with chunks of Holy Goat chevre.

good parking on Auburn too....

that's an option.

Spider

Options:

(all spider approved)

Hawthorn (Auburn Rd):    Porgie and Mr Jones
Brunswick (lygon): Gingerlee (this is one of the hot spots at present - bring your sweet tooth)
St Kilda (balaclava rd): Las Chicas: great everything here
Flemington: Verb: big serves, cool music, mixed crowd (haven't been but gets the thumbs up from a big eater friend of mine)

and speaking of music/food combinations, one weekend....we'll go to one of my favorites....in Ballarat....L'espresso! (1/4 music store, 3/4 foodie haven)

so they are the places I recommend and have shortlisted

the pregnant dog is back!

Hello, I may be able to attend this. I believe "The ride for the hills" ( a fundraising event for the communities affected by the recent bush fires here in VIC) is on that day. Starts in St Kilda. Could be potential for a carding operation. Just a thought.  :)
There is no charge for awesomeness... or attractiveness.

Ah yes...  About 200 metres from my front door!!!

L'espresso.....   Is that on the left of the main drag as you head up the hill towards the Sebastapol/Hamilton turn off??  If so I've been there...  Very good..

Bewdy a Ballarat meet up in the future then?  Not quite so far for me to travel.  I've been to L'espresso a few times I think.

Anywhere we don't have to wait for a table, not too noisy, and has a 1/2 decent coffee. Gee's I'm sounding old already :( I might have to take up bowls soon.

I've only had a takeaway coffee from Porgies...  Coffee was good...  It's not a very big place...  Parking on Auburn Road is hit and miss...

Ita..

HCG...   Bowls mate!!!  Get on board...  [thumbsup]

Spider

Hey Ita.....we should organise a barefoot bowls night at St Kilda for the crew! You can teach us all how to pick up.....the bowling ball and...put it where you want it.

OK.....Brendan.....these breakfast places are GOOD, which means they are like the ones we've been to previously.....Saturday breakfast/brunch is getting pretty hardcore in this town lately!

How about Verb?????

Don't forget we are talking about SUNDAY here not Saturday.  [thumbsup]

It doesn't get any quiter here in Melb on a Sunday, we all do brunch on the way home from the pub/club/noodiebar.

Verb sound's good. Plus it's west.
