Thinking of having my ECU reflashed to go with termi's vs. buying a DP ECU for my 2007 S4R T.

Does anyone know if this will void the warranty?

Your expereinces with having the ECU reflashed?  worth it?

What do you guys think of the Nemesis?

FWIW, if you are going to buy a DP ECU, you might as well buy one thats adjustable...

I was going to flash mine, but my Rapid Bike 3 module is running quite nice, and its nice to be able to adjust the map.

I would imagine they would be inclined to void your warranty if they found the re-flash faulty, however, by law if it is determined that re-flash did NOT contribute to your problem than they would NOT be able to void your warranty.

By the way, is your warranty almost expired?  Or, did you buy the extended warranty?

The ProTune ECU Remap Kit will allow you to re-flash your original ECU with a "DP map" and return it back to original if you wish---for about half the price of a DP ECU.

Anyone ever use this, running stock ecu, "full" arrows or termis?

The product was just introduced last month- you probably won't find anyone with a Monster yet as the DP maps for the monster was just loaded up on their website for us to access last week and the orders for the Monster kits were just shipped out to us.
I've tried it on our 1098 project bike though--that is how we figured out they were DP maps.

It is a fairly easy process to re-flash your ECU. The map is exactly the same as what comes with the Termi systems. You have some options in the maps too depending if you are running cats, after market air filter...

Pardon the slight threadjack.  I'm going to be adding boomtubes and perhaps pods.  I also don't have the red key (got the bike cheap).  I hear the reflash can disable the immobilizer.  Does that mean I won't ever need the red key?

thats pretty much what Monstermash states if you look at his thread (under minor sponsers). Not sure if this unit does the same.
