Just on average, how long do members usually "go on a ride" for?

It depends.

Our regular Sunday ride runs from 9:00 a.m. till 4:00 p.m. or so, but there's stops in between for lunch, etc.

Some evenings I'll go out for an hour or two. Especially if I've had a long day at the shop, I'll take the long way home.

If we're "on tour", like out to the Hill Country or somewhere like that, I'll ride 8+ hours.

Hmm.  Breakfast run, maybe an hour.  Sunday ride is 2-3.  Commute is 7-10 minutes ;D

Normally it`s the whole day, but actual riding time equates to about 2 hours [thumbsup]

I commute any where from 1 to 2 hours a day and rarely ride weekends unless I am going to some motorcycle event. Yeah I know... I have it all wrong :)

usually an hour or less i get like 3 times a year on those days I do 300 miles or more which are the times I live for.

cc's are still 992

When I do get out it's usually an all day event.

A 300 mile day is a good one.

One to two hours here.  We only get out on weekends.  Work hours suck during the week.

anything shorter is just a commute

It really varies, but the best ones are 300-mile, full-day affairs.

I get out for a variety of "types" of rides on a daily basis about 8 months a year (Pac NW). Daily commuting is 5-30 minutes to and from work (2 miles) depending on the route. Daily fun rides (git'er done, and git bak 2 werk), are a  5 minute ride to a sweet 45 minute canyon/river loop. 3-4 times a week I do a 3-5 hour ride with lots of old favorites and new exploration rides (last week I explored to the point I ended up on 3 different canyon roads that turned to gravel, so had to abort - unless I am on my KTM dual sport  8) [evil] )... And, 2-3 times a month I do a 700-800 mile overnighter (hotel camping) and then twice a riding season, I do a 4-6 day long trip hotel camping trip.

Last season I rode 18K miles...  ;D

Except for commuting and sales calls - (thank god for lane "sharing")

it's usually AFD (8+ hours)
Desmosedici - it's the new Paso (except the bodywork doesn't fit as well)

I commute most days (about 20 minutes).  Rides on weekends are usually a 1/2 affair, but about 2 hours riding.

TiNi

i usually don't ride to and from work, mostly weekends.
when the weekend comes, i try to do as much as possible,
limiting my rides to between 2-4 hours each
