Greeting , all Ducati memeber , so I'm a new rider and my first bike is a 2002 monster 750ie it is sitting in my back yard as we speaking ! I was happy when I found this forum because it is the one that inspired me to buy a Ducati ... the bike sounds loud and has like a knocking sound I don't know if its normal so any feedback ? also the oil light stays on wen I turn the key to on before satrting ... thx

The oil light staying on before starting is normal but I'm not sure about the knocking sound.
The '02 M750 should have a wet clutch like the '01 that I have but you may have a dry clutch which has an unexpected sound if you aren't used to it.

I'm sure you could find someone in your area on the DMF that would be happy to take a listen for ya.

My Monster is my first bike too and after a year I still love it as much as the day I got it.

Where are you located?   Finding someone local who can take a look is a good suggestion.

thank you guys i'm acctually located in new jersey , you are right the guy who I bought it from said something about flushing the clutch , maybe that's wut I need to do ! here are some pics I took off the single front headlight , looking to put on dual instead.
