The Angel Fire ski patrol first aid station has a decent facility at the base of the mountain. They were really busy when I got there about 3:00. They took one guy away on a backboard in an ambulance. No telling where to. They had prescription meds in stock too.

Ski patrol has a doc on staff. Xray machine pretty poor based on results of Dallas machine. I still can't believe the image difference. No break could be seen.

Went to Plano sports orthopedic practice based on family reference. Their trauma surgeon took my case. I think he operates in Plano area on Tuesday and Baylor Frisco hospital on Thursday. He happened to have an opening today so I jumped on it. This place is freakin nice. Doc said meals were best he'd had at a hospital and he was right. They talked me into staying overnight but leaving first thing in morning.

So obviously you're back home and that's where you went under the knife. Which is good. Like I said, don't know where to take someone if s#@t hits the fan with the family during the normal summer months when we visit. We are not ski/winter weather folks so the whole ski patrol thing doesn't have any effect on us. We hike and trout fish. After your ordeal it confirms my ski slope self restrictions. Hope you get to feeling better soon and knock the new off of that 1198S!! [moto]

I am planning on it for certain. I have already made arrangements for a private AMS day. I have also made contact with CMRA racer Andy Galindo for a private instruction track day June 11 at Oak Hill. So, i'm going for it. Got to get a trailer though.

Oak Hill is greatness! Very technical with good elevation changes. Are they letting non licensed riders out there nowadays? Let us know how much the track fee is, apart from Galindos fee. Used to be cheap to go out there for practice days. It's a bit of a hike but that would be cool to get some DFWMers out there for a track day if they'll let us.
