Friendly Reminder: Pot holes

Did my first ride of the season today and there are lots of yummy pot holes that came about during the winter.  so:

1) Consider adding 1~2 psi more to your tires to reduce likelihood of rim damage
2) Don't look at them if you don't want to hit them
3) if you have to hit them, stay loose, post-up, and gas through 'em for the front tire and roll-off for the rear tire.

I always remind myself this time of year to look our for potholes AND renegade sand patches. Usually after a bad winter, there will be so many patches of sand around every other turn, that I get pissed and start calling the local town halls to complain.  [bang]

Luckily it was a relatively snow-free winter on LI.
