No wonder i hate to ride around Dallas anymore specially during the night.. so many Freakin Squids with no respect for other people on the road, ad to those Aholes drunk drivers and people to busy texting or browsing on the phone and you have a good picture of what's going on out there....

Night driving/riding is the one im not going to miss when i leave....

im not sure if you would like Athens... Coffee or Beer every night under the Acropolis, Rides around the nearby Mountains and  twisty seaside roads, Go to the beach in the summertime or even better hit the Islands.. Ride scooters in Downtown like you are in motoGp... what else? legal lanespliting... Very flexible cops...

I dont think Americans need visa to visit Turkey, I never been to Turkey but isnt one of the priorrity places to visit neither... I would Rather fly to Mugello 45 min flight... or even better Valencia 1 1/2 flight.. for motoGP live!

we had Greek tags on the car and drove to Istanbul from Athens with American Passports.  Trust me, going and coming was a pain at the border.

not quite but after 3 hours it felt like it.  pre 9-11 time frame.  at one point I did think I was going to jail though because my friend mouthed off

I learned this in Saudi Arabia when I watched my Grandmother shoot off at the Religious Police and off to jail she went.  We waited over 12 hours for her and all the while she was cussing like a sailor.  My friend thought he had immunity because his Dad was the Naval Athashe (spelling) at the time....I damn near beat his ass afterwards.

I did have my Venezuelan passport then but haven't renewed it since.  I'll bet now they will lay down the red carpet if I showed that one.
