Started riding my older Brothers race ready BSA 441 Victor, when I was in Junior High School.....and when he found out.....I would run the quarter mile faster than a AA fueler on a good day.......to preserve the condition of my rear-end......otherwise his boot would get lodged in a fashion that is not conducive to good posture, or good health...... in other words, when caught stealing his bike, he would beat the livin' sh*t out of me! I fell in love with the two-wheeled beast then.
One of my older Bros High School buddies is the legendary "Pat Hennan", raced against the likes  of Kenny Roberts, Barry Sheene until Isle of Mann crash (First American to win a 500cc World Grand Prix road race). So we had some great motorcycle riders in the neighborhood.

Would love to hook up with some locals...oh, BTW, My wife Mia, has a '07 695 (that's her commuter) and a Modding-in progress brand ne 848, prodotti espsecialli, Italia! Si Prego!

There's a meet-up at Zeitgeist on the last Thurs of the month for the SF crowd.  The San Jose monster owners meet up sometime in the middle of the month, I think.  Rides are sometimes posted on the local board.  If you're looking for other monsters owners, just post up and you'll likely get some bites.  We do tech days too, often impromptu, so if you have something you want to work on, post up about it.  You can also hook up with folks for trackdays (a couple of the locals are keigwins' instructors), and we're always at the AFM races.  Lookin' forward to meetin' ya and the wife.
