For that much money you buy a low mileage 848 and a nice S2R 800/1000...

Yep, the exhaust, plus when AMS sells you the bike you'd best go ahead stick in the pre-paid maintenance for another $3k. If you're lucky you may get out of AMS on your new 1198s with your riding boots on.

Just like in grade school, you gotta pay the big bucks to be the cool kid with newest shoes.

Yeah, at these prices I'm happy I'm happy with my S4RS.

which is why I told you earlier on today that my 1100S will be your bike soon and I wanted you to be happy with the full termi system LOL.. Oh and I have the AMS prepaid maintenance up to 7,500miles / 3 years

I'll test ride it too and if I like it, I'll buy it.. and if I do, it'd be the S with full termi, make the beast with two backs the stock suspension...

Anyone going to this today? Looks fine now but there is a damn good chance of rain today. Dodged a few showers yesterday but the chances increase today. Wouldn't mind riding to AMS and taking an up close look-see at the Streetfighter. Have no real interest in one but it would be a good way to kill some time. [moto]

Rode her today...put her away wet. Not bad... Hard on the nuts though, probably close to a sbk in that dept
