I am posting this photo because this is what she looks like in her current state.  The modding starts tomorrow and I am beyond excited because I just hooked up with a pair of arrows at a totally awesome price sot that I now can have them next month instead of waiting until this winter (bouncing... so happy... I HATE the stock pipes and that ball sack thing hanging off the bike and I want it gone yesterday.)

Planned mods (aesthetic):

Forks
Swing arm
Exhaust
Mirrors
Rear Slider
Belt cover
The thing that hold the handlebar to the forks (yeah laugh.. the correct technical term is ALWAYS the or that "thing")
Tail chop (maaaybe.  Not totally sold yet. After the new exhaust comes on then well think about it some more)
Rear tail light flasher

Other mods

Brake upgrade
Height/suspension adjustment (that's not the technical term either)

So making this thread to update later as I progress with changing her bits.

(soooo happy about the exhaust!)

This picture actually doesn't show the color very well at all.  I found this online. Its closer to what the color looks like in person and you can see what the arrows will look like on it.

I have a tangerine S2R as well. seems like one of about four on this board...
this last picture here shows the color well.
In the service manual under paint codes, the color is actually listed as "Tangerine Red."
It's a very hard color to try and describe.. But i do have the PPG paint code, so if i ever go custom, it's getting a sweet tangerine paint scheme.
The color is too cool to ever get rid of.

Tangerine Red was only available for 2005-2006 models. IIRC

Yeah.. the color almost "fluoresces" under direct sunlight. It's orange, but its red, it glows, but it doesn't.  It is hard describe.. but much more impressive in person.

Can I get that PPG paint code from you please?
