Just a small touch, looking for more to do red.  Not sure will hold up well, guess I will find out soon enuff.

Next up I hope is to find way to change spring from yellow to red (suggestions welcome)

Also wonder if anything I can do to change color of Pazzo levers.  Ended up with gold levers with red adjusters, anyone know if possible to PC or the gold?? Maybe best just to replace, but kinda thinking about doing a bit of "Tri-Color" on the 696 so along with adding more red, looking for ways to add the dark green.

looka good, if you want a good looking lever, id reanodize it the color you want, but if you just want nice and cheap, id throw it in with the powdercoat batch.

Now to do the search for who does the PC and/or anodizing near me  [bang]

Tks guyz!   Oh and how difficult will it be to remove that spring btw??

i can PC them for you if you want them in a high gloss black :) however, those little small crevices will be filled with powdercoat and wont look as sharp.

to remove the shock spirng, you have to jack the rear up so theres no weight on the shock, remove the pin on the bottom and top of the shock, then use a spring compress to remove.

good luck

good luck as in "gonna be a biatch"?   [laugh]   Can you PC the spring also then?   Or instead?  Think I found an anodizer to do levers.  Also, hubby wants his Speed Triple rims PC'd I think as well, gotta price on that?  Maybe I should PM you instead here?  Where are you located btw?  tks  [beer]

Im not a professional PC'er i'm just starting it out as a hobby and theres been enough interest locally to get me to practice the "art of powdercoating"

If you send me your spring, ill do it for free, just cover the cost of shipping and materials and we're good. I cant do rims right now or anything that requires a crazy prep job, or is extremely dirty.

but the spring should be easy, I only have superwet gloss black and Sun gold powder right now, so you'd need to pick out the powder so I can order it.

this is my own bike, powder coated the rear sets, rear seat cowl (its aluminum) the clutch cover wheels and swingarm and wheels. stock shock is still on there, im looking to get the right spring and throw it on the 999 shock, this thing is way to soft, and im suppose to fall in the range of the shock at 150

Just wondering out loud (I've got no desire to PC my monoblocs : ;)), but since the seals in the caliper have got to be good for 400 deg, would you even need to pull them if you masked the caliper off well?
