Just got a 2001 M750 Dark!

Hey all!

I just bought an 01 M750 Dark.  Since I started motorcycling, I've wanted a Monster.  Every time I ride it is like fulfilling a dream.

Here's some details about me:

Current: 2001 Ducati Monster 750 Dark



Previous:  2003 Suzuki Bandit GSF1200/S
Bought new in 2004, sold in 2009


Previous: 1984 Honda Nighthawk CB650SC
Bought in 2000, sold in 2004

BUT how is the power difference going from the 1200S to the 750 going to be ???

It's a rather large difference, but I expected it.  The 1200S had around 98hp, the Duc has about 65. 

I made the switch for a few reasons, but #1 is that I felt the Bandit handled poorly.  Also, 95% of the time I didn't need the extra power.

So I switched to my "dream bike" and I am loving it!  Maybe in the future I will get a larger displacement bike, but I am more than happy with the 750.
