I'm just wondering.  I have an '06 s2r1k and the windscreen is made from solid black plastic, and is not see-thru at all.

Mine is clear, I have an 07' s2r 1000. Probably a aftermarket mod.

Mine is clear but has bubbles between the layers of plastic - annoying.

08 S2R1K - Clear OEM windscreen.

My 08' S2R 1K is clear, but thinking of going smoke.

been in a box since the second day i owned her.

interesting.  i bought the bike used so the previous owner must have swapped it out.  I had thought of putting a clear one in there, but I actually like the fact that the solid windscreen blocks the glare from the headlight at night.

my 07' had a clear one...till i painted the inside black

Windscreen you say?  What Windscreen??? Who needs 'em? 

i don't know of anyone that makes a solid black plastic screen...
he may have painted it...
