i'm stuck in the library doing research for a law review article. and for once, thanks to the weather, i'm glad i had to pass.

next week is looking good though!

OK, OK... riding back from Grand Prairie on I-30 at about 7:30, 80mph winds scared the poopie out of me, so I weenied out on the Amsterdam.  Got home to no electricity and just minutes ahead of the deluge.

Next week for chure.

I waited until the storm passed but the rain never stopped so got drenched just going a few miles and turned back.

Next week, I hope! Got a new batch of cubans I want try.

Any of those Cubans have my name on them?

Yep, your boat came in ........ mostly bananas but they're all Cuban.

I B dere.  The Sweetie was kind enough to remind me that TODAY was Wednesday (I was sure it was Tuesday... unemployed = all days are same).

i'm mad i missed another - conference call to california to discuss the nuances of a research project. eventually i'll make it out.

Woo hoo!  I was there tonight.  Very nice, very, uh, colorful group of people with very interesting rides.  It's going on my calendar... which is around here somewhere.

I learned a couple of things:
1)  Don't pay the parking ransom at the parking lot - instead ride your bike down the sidewalk and park in front of the Amsterdam on the sidewalk.
2)  Don't plan to eat there - they don't serve food, but they are happy for you to bring your own.
3)  If you don't have ink, wear long sleeves.
4)  Do NOT pat the big blonde on the ass.

That was Eddie from Moscow! Very cool dude. Smart as a whip too. Has a very sharp looking  Red/White stripe/white wheels S2R Monster. Great meeting him and his friend Mike too. All the best and hope to Mike too. My friend Alex too was there on his fine Triumph Speed Triple R 675 who might be on the ride Sunday. I wish I had only taken some pics but it's a full-time job buying everybody  all night. Didn't even get a tip    .
