Headline says it.  Go to Motopia website for further details.  Sounds good to me.

I just finished up the honey do list so may have to run over there @ 4.

We have a wedding at 6 so can't stay long but would love to see what all they have.
Old enough to know better but just don't care!

I need to get over there soon to trade out a yellow visor I bought about a month back... It's horrible at night; lots of halos. I wonder if I can get store credit for it; I need a night visor badly.

It was very nice ...... too bad I had to leave early. I got to drink a corona  [drink] and meet some of the members [beer]. They were getting the burgers ready when I left [clap].

I forgot how bad traffic leaving Dallas is around 5 [evil], good thing I was on a bike [moto]

I saw Winky come home last night.  She waved, but was on the phone.  Winky does NOT need to be on the phone while driving.  Cory, please think of her safety  [thumbsup]

I had a nice time at Motopia last night.  Visited briefly with Randy and Lisa, both of whom were hard at work (nice to see, for their sakes, if nothing else).

Things got even better when the burgers were done - thank you, Tom, for chef-ing.  The rice & chicken side was terrific, too.  We cranked up the atmosphere by getting Rene to put on the 2006 Isle of Man TT DVD (instead of, ugh, NASCAR) on the big screens.

Met and chatted with new friends Bob & Donna (both successful CPAs), Jerry (a pilot for SWA and rabid BMW rider), Scott, David, Carlo & Lisala (sp?) his lovely wife.

After all that, here's what I wish:  I wish Rene would open up Motopia to one and all, even with abbreviated hours (Thurs - Sun?), and have a members-only feature for track-day adventurists that only paid for the track days.  Rene told me that most of the members were there to save money on track days and to have greater (exclusive) access to the track anyway.

I really like Motopia, Rene, Marco and all the very friendly folks I meet there - I'd like to spend more time (and money) there, but I really don't have a burning interest in track time.

I wonder what other folks think of such an arrangement... perhaps, if there are enough of us, we could approach Rene and suggest a change?   [popcorn]

Yeah, it's a tough situation for Motopia, I think.  With members already registered, I'm not sure there would be any turning back now.  But what I would like to see is Race Watch Parties open to everyone.  The bar would certainly run and Marco's food has always been awesome so I think the kitchen would be busy as well.  Combine all that with maybe whatever monthly specials/sale stuff SpeedTech gets through Parts Unlimited or Tucker Rocky (like the tire deal through the end of June) and the thing could fly for everyone.  Par-tay  ;D

It is a beautiful place and I for one would love to get to hang out there from time to time.

I talked about cost and could see my way to spending the $100 a month on food, drink, etc. The other $100 not sure. It would be nice if they had an affiliate membership for non track people. It would be up to the existing members which is getting pretty close to the break even number from what I hear.

It is open for lunch to anyone and I was told they didn't throw out those that got there before 3 and for sure not any females  [clap]
