Fantastic! Can't wait to meet your wife, & see those two on their own bikes, I would imagine it's pretty impressive.

Thanks for the dates Cloner.
I promise to make better mistakes tomorrow.

I am actually contemplating going to Ouray for some early action traction on Friday and home Sunday. Anybody? BTW not riding there but riding once up there. (probably goes without saying for me).

This is kinda what I had in my mind.  Go up Friday morning, ride in the afternoon, then ride Saturday and Sunday and drive home Sunday evening.  Saves a rather expensive hotel night and a precious vacation day.  I asked earlier if anybody wanted to split a room and I think Punx Clever said he was in, but I want to confirm whether this schedule is cool ( for him or anybody else).

I was talking about this Friday as ABQ is going to be high 90s by Friday......but like everything else in my scattered mind....I forgot my store has been closed 2 saturdays in a row...hmmmmm...whats another saturday when Ouray is only 4 hours away...cool nights...amazing riding weather....(maybe I should check that) or stay home. Boy I'll tell ya...this weather just makes ya wanna split town and head north!  [thumbsup]

Heres one of those times where you guys are talking faster than you are thinking.
If i'm not mistaken,  HP is refering to this weekend, as in "whos riding this weekend", and cloner must be talkin' about Ouray (this thread).
I promise to make better mistakes tomorrow.

Yeah, what he said.
I was thinking along the same timeline...Pam hasn't confirmed her plans about joining me due to the Santa Fe Indian Market preparation or the lack thereof ;D....btw she gets to read all my posts. If she decides not to make it you can shack up with me.....whoooow that just doesn't sound right....well you know what I mean ;D

I was informed by my better half that she would love to join the outing and is willing to haul
anything and everybody interested in joining the event in her cage. We'll be there from Friday through Sunday [moto]

Where are you staying?

Hotels in the area are pretty pricey, huh?  I haven't made reservations.  Can anybody COMMIT to a split?  If so, do you have a preference for location?  Both Best Westerns in Ouray are sold out Friday and Saturday, so that leaves local establishments, most of which are $120/night or more (or lots more, depending).  Anybody have reservations (with two beds) they want to split?  Anybody camping?  If so, where?

Enquiring minds want to know.

If you love your bike, set it free.
If it comes back to you, you've
probably high-sided.
