Hey Yall,

So I've seen some custom hard packs put on monsters before but was wondering if there is any stand alone system.  I've been commuting and a hard pack saddle bag solution would come in handy.

I saw this guys modded something up http://www.twistedthrottle.com/article/articleview/63/1/24/

Another issue is that I have an S4Rt and the shotgun exhaust is sure to cause problems in this department.  Any help is always appreciated.

thats a handsome system there. Ive also seen people mount up the ducati hard cases (from an ST i believe) but the lines are a little wacky

something to check out may be the Dowco Fastrax saddlebags. they are made to fit over highmount exhaust if necessary. i have the fastrax tail, and aside from being too big for the monster rear, i love it

If you can do with only a tail bag, someone on the board has had good experiences using a Ventura tail rack.

The end is in sight! Gotta buckle down and get to work!

The shotgun set up on your bike is the hardest part.  Older, DSS monsters could mount the DP hard bags that you commonly see on STs.  Givi does make some sort of lop sided panier set up for the S*R bikes, but it's not super common and the bag was soft.  Though twisted throttle stocks it.

Though I'm having trouble finding it, someone local to me had a Givi hard top case on her 620.  The mounts sort of looked like this

You might have to get something custom if you want proper hard cases.
-Throttle's on the right, so are the brakes.  Good luck.

I have the Givi soft packs and bracket.  There ok, I zip tie the bags on though as they flop around to much without.  That top hard pack aint that bad.  Even though its not for S*R bikes it looks like it could be easily modded to fit. Thanks.
