Best source for stainless brake lines?

Hey guys,

Was wondering if you know where I could find reasonably-priced stainless steel brake lines for my monster (M620).

also, is a new clutch slave bleeder screw a dealer-only part?

LOL, well, I got a little overzealous tightening the bleeder screw when I was bleeding the clutch lines and sheared off the top of it. Luckily, I had an extra bleeder from my spare engine, so I used that one.

I'll give CA cycle works a try.

I just switched to clipons and the bend on the the banjo fitting on my reservoirs is barely clearing the gauges, causing a rather aggressive bend on the lines, and keeping me from lowering the instrument panel. It's fine as is, but I figured down the road I can get SS brake lines with straight banjo fittings so I can do it right.

I use CycleBrakes who are a Galfer dealer and can make custom lines.

hmmmm. looks like galfer doesn't make lines specifically for an '02 M620. other choice would be custom lines.

I noticed the newer dual disc set ups on the 696s have one line that goes from left caliper to right caliper, then from right caliper to master unlike mine which has one line from each caliper running up and then merging into one line behind the headlight bracket and then ending to the master cylinder (which I'm not crazy about). I rather have it setup like on the newer bikes.

anyone know if I could do the 696 set up with my calipers?

I don't know why not.  Does the 696 have some sort of fastener on the fender so the brake line doesn't rub on it?

BTW, I got custom Galfer lines from CycleBrakes for two different bikes, and they were pleasant to work with.  I would be inclined to buy from CA Cycleworks, though, as they are a long-time board sponsor and a genuine Ducati enthusiast.
