Hey folks,

I just moved back to Boston from Seattle, and recently acquired an '01 Monster 900.

I look forward to meeting and hopefully riding with other Ducati and Monster aficionados around the MA and New England area. :)

Does anyone know what happened with CD-ROM? I remember those guys fondly and the website seems to be defunct. Any 'Rommers still around?

Hey Christian...

The CD-ROM list went south when Scott abandoned the server.

You can find the people at cdrne on yahoo groups.

Thanks for the tip, painter. Hopefully I can connect with some of my old buddies over there.

Looking forward to making new friends here, too. :)

Welcome Christian.

The CD-ROM list was my first Ducati internet list. It had to be over 10 years ago now. That was back when you actually subscribed to a list and got a ton of emails every day ( unless you did digest ). I found that one and "The Big" Ducati list which I still subscribe to.

Somewhere I have a bunch of old emails archived from that list that were some funny exchanges. I'll have to dig those up sometime..

Hey Oz,

I think I actually remember you from 2000/2001 when I was active on the list. I have to say that I miss email lists . . .

Although I suppose we should be riding and not chatting online, huh? :)
